Well, no news for us either, August 15th transfer. My fiancé called yesterday the number Nurseling kindly gave us from the previous post and no case number for us yet. The lady told to come back in one week (I am not sure we can survive that long...without a case number) lol...

Hello there! I know how it is but I guess we need to acquire some kind of patience... I am happy we were transferred to NVC but it is very frustrating to call them and get a NO every time. And sometimes they are very rude. They turn kind of unpleasant when they ask me if I have the approval letter in front of me and I replay that I did not receive the letter yet. Then they tell me that when I have it they would be able to help me better. That for the moment there is nothing they could tell me. Ughhhh!

Heyy, I received an e-mail that my petition was sent out to NVC on Aug 9 and I was just able to receive my case number today!! I called everyday for the first couple of days, always with my hopes up to receive a YES, but they always said that my petition had not been found, so I just stopped calling and waited until today... I know it's easier said then done, but just give it another week! :)

Ok I just received an e-mail from NVC saying that they have received my file and that they will send me (the petitioner) instructions within 6 to 8 weeks.

That was a response to an e-mail I sent on the 9th of August.
