Alright!! Confirmation they have recieved it!!

ok so last night at 1234AM I got a text saying that they have recieved the I-130 packet and then checked my email and got the following:

Your case has been accepted and routed to the USCIS National Benefits Center for processing. Within 7-10 days by standard mail you will receive your official Receipt Notice (Form I-797) with your Receipt Number MSC XXXXXXXXX. With the official Receipt Notice (Form I-797) you may visit www.uscis.gov where you can check the status of your case using My Case Status. We suggest you wait until you have received your Form I-797 before checking My Case Status.

This confirmation provides notification of the date USCIS received your case. This notice does NOT grant any immigration status or benefit. You MAY NOT present this notice as evidence that you have been granted any immigration status or benefit. Further, this notice does NOT constitute evidence that your case remains pending with USCIS. The current status of your case must be verified with USCIS.

Guess my question is what does the MSC stand for? I also thought that our case would be transferred to a service center not the NBC?? Also we are wanting to get everything ready for later on in the process I know I have to get my IRS transcripts, where do I get those and what dates do I put on there? So can we does this makes us August filers , not quite sure how that works here

You can order your tax transcripts at irs.gov

It takes 7 to 10 days to get in the mail. They have no expiration date so you can order now.

MSC stands for Missouri Sevice Center ( commonly known as NBC). It is the same case as ours.

MSC does indeed stand for Missouri Service Center, but I recommend checking the address on the hardcopy notice you will receive in the mail (hopefully within a week). I have an MSC receipt number but my case isn't in Missouri, it's in the new National Benefits Center in Kansas.
