I am confused about vegas wedding. My limit is 1000$ and something traditional like no elvis.

You guys recommend anything nice?

Vermont Service Center...

- Aug 14th - I-129F Arrived

- Aug 15 - NOA1

- Aug 17th - Check cashed

- Aug 18th - touched

- Aug 24th - touched

- Aug 29th - touched!

- Sept 1st - touched??

- Sept 1st - approved little later after being touched!!

- Sept 2nd - touched - sent stuff to NVC?

- Sept 6th - NVC Received my case

- Sept 12th - petition forwarded to embassy

- Sept 14th - embassy receives it

- Dec.. - passes interview! .. Arrived to the US!

- Jan 15th - got married in vegas!!

- Jan 26th - went to SS office to apply and change last name

- Feb 8th - Received SS card with new last name!

- Feb 19th - Chicago received my application - delivered

- End of May Interview

- Less than 2 weeks later. Green card in the mail!

Actually, I wasn't married BY elvis but I was married the same place as Elvis in Viva Las Vegas:

Little Church of the West

It's like a little church in copse of pine tree just south of the strip, so away from the hustle and bustle (walking distance from Mandalay Bay) and the price is right for people with tight budget! Oh yes, and it was really lovely, I would recommend.

Just use the drive up window. Dont even have to get out of your car. Now what could be easier and un-complicated. Dont remember the name of the place, but its downtown.

I finally got rid of the never ending money drain. I called the plumber, and got the problem fixed. I wish her the best.
