Further Update: got email notification and my current case status in USCIS site is:

OK, the signature block on our approval letter was from a local office near me...not anywhere near CSC. So, I think CSC is sending these (at least some of them) to local service centers to be adjudic

Hello Everyone

I am in the same boat with everyone , filed for ROC in June, Recieved NOA on June 18th, Biometrics appointment on July 22nd and finally recieved a notification that my case is being transferred

Any indication to what is going on?

I received my approval letter last night. It came from the local office (Federal Plaza in NYC).

Online status is still under "initial review" and I didn't receive any email or text regarding it...

In my case - the whole ROC process took 101 days total (weekends included) from application to approval - and approval came 42 days after the transfer to local office.

Good luck to you all. Hope the approval comes fast.

Everyone here -- be thankful that your case got transferred!

We filed at the VSC in August 2012 (yes, that's the previous year), got an RFE in March 2013, sent additional evidence in early May 2013, and just got an interview and approval today. That's a massive 420 days! I suspect that we may have gotten stuck in some traffic at Vermont after our RFE. Looks like transferring to local offices has worked out well for most of you.
