Probably the transfer date would be like our new date of submission. Of course the background check (finger prints) throws a curve ball for a few and it changes everything. However all the best.

I am an August filer. Mine got transferred to Local USCIS Office. On calling 800-375-5283, it discloses that the Local Office at St. Albans, Vermont itself. You guys can check if the Local Office is

OK, the signature block on our approval letter was from a local office near me...not anywhere near CSC. So, I think CSC is sending these (at least some of them) to local service centers to be adjudic

Hello guys! I just got a RFE letter so I guess my case is going to take longer than what I thought. They're asking me only for ONE thing, to send more bank statements even from before we got married, which we only sent the ones since we got married. I'm already talking to my lawyer to see what else I can send them but this should be it. I have another friend who suffered the same situation but got the papers a few months after.

Karen_and_Jay Did you guys send more information that they were asking you?? And why did they call you guys for an interview??

may 29 2013 filled i751. June 28 2013 fingerprints..September 17 case transferred to CSC

october 11 received a letter of approval.

Well , thanks everyone for the constant updates, helps us to know what is going on and keep our hopes up

I am hoping for good news within next 3 weeks,as it seems most people get some form of response within 4-5weeks of transfer to a local office,looking at the time line

Fingers crossed, next two weeks i hope

12/28/11 - Received SSN (applied on 12/20/11, as we didn't get based on DS-230 options)
11/28/11 - Received Green Card (Expires on 10/30/13) - Welcome Letter on 11/17/11
10/30/11 - POE - Houston, TX

Chennai Consulate (40 days)
10/28/11 - Received Visa papers and Passport at VFS
10/25/11 - Interview Cleared Successfully (Spouse was not allowed in)

NVC: (90 days from NOA2 to Consulate)
08/31/11 - Case Completed (Interview 10/25/11) - Received at Chennai on 09/19/11
07/22/11 - NVC Case Number

USCIS: (92 days)

6/21/11 - NOA2 (NOA1 on 3/25/11) - took a month to get to NVC
3/21/11 - I-130 sent to USCIS Lockbox, Chicago.
