Hi everyone there,

I am waiting for my packet 3 form London, CEAC status turns to "READY" on 19 Aug 2013. How long to arrive the packet 3ClockWatch2.gif ??

6/30/2014: Received interview waiver letter

02/27/2015: Green Card received

I-751

12/14/2016: Petition mailed to Vermont Service Center (USPS Priority Mail)

12/16/2016: Petition delivered to VSC.

12/21/2016: ACH hold for Payment of $590

12/23/2016: Received NOA1 dated 12/19/2016

01/07/2017: Received Biometric dated 12/31/2016

01/18/2017: Biometrics Appointment  

11/25/2017: Received Approval letter dated 11/18/2107

11/28/2017: Status changed to "new Card is being produced" 

11/30/2017: Status changed to "Card was mailed to me" 

12/04/2017: Received my Green Card. 

N-400

11/30/2017: Applied Online 

12/01/2017: NOA uploaded to my account. 

12/02/2017:  Status changed Biometrics appointment was schedule (Waiting for letter upload to my account )

12/04/2017: NOA received in the mail

12/04/2017: Biometrics appointment letter uploaded online schedule for 12/21/2017

12/05/2017: Early walk-in Biometrics 

06/12/2018: Interview scheduled 

07/17/2018: Interview (Approved)

07/20/2018: Oath ceremony scheduled (for 08/11/2018)

08/11/2018: US Citizen

i wudnt wait for packet 3 to come. you can make everything ready before packet3 comes.. http://london.usembassy.gov/ds2001.html read everything carefuly nd you can fill out every form frm nw on!! :)

It'll likely show up any time from this week to 3 weeks time. It's just a letter with your LDN number and a link to the website pointed out in the previous post. You can get your documents ready to return now and think about when you can do your medical (which you will be booking yourself).

We recently received Packet 3, on the 9th. On July 29th, our case was entered into the DoS website. So, it took about 11 days for us to receive anything!

Met in 2006 through a pen pal website for school-aged kids when we were 15!
Kept in touch a bit for 4.5 years
02-2011 -Started talking about how to make a relationship work
06-06-2011- Met in Chicago and became a couple, finally!
07-18-2011- I flew back with him to England to meet his family
11-23-2011- He stays with my family and me for three months!
05-16-2012- I flew to England to be with him for a month.
07-15-2012- He flies back to me for another 3 months
12-17-2012- I fly over to England to be with him for 5 months
04-05-2013- We took a trip to Rome, and he asks me to marry him in St. Peter's Square!!!
04-25-2013- I-129F Sent to Dallas Lockbox
05-09-2013- He comes back to visit me for nearly 2 months
07-03-2013- I go back ONE last time, while our I-129F is processing
07-17-2013- Our petition is approved only 79 days later!! kicking.gif
07-25-2013- I fly home, and we are now apart for an indefinite amount of time. cray5ol.gif
08-09-2013- Packet 3 received

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

It can take 2+ weeks before they mail out packet 3. It's not something you really need to worry about though... As mentioned above you can be preparing for the interview right now, by gathering your police and birth certificates, DS- forms, etc. This is all packet 3 tells you to do.
