Hi, I had my now 20 month old son in Argentina,got him a us residence since I was not yet a citizen at the time,and now that I am a us citizen I want to know,if in order to make him a US citizen,i need to file and pay all the same fees as I did to become a citizen?

Is the father a US citizen and the petitioner for your K-1 visa?

So the son is not with you in the U.S.? What status is/was the other parent when the child was born? Are you the mother or the father?
