well there in lies your problem..You can't just on a whim decide what parts are important and which are not. We have a process to change it, you know.

There you go with your selective reading skills.

I gave myself a C on the post

Ah, gotcha. At least you admit to being a hypocrite. Makes it easier to laugh you off.

i actually live in a sub rural area that is considered one of the better parts of town

Criminal thugs can drive

I guess I could succumb to fear and hysteria and move to the North Ga mnts in a gated community.. In Ga pretty much the only places with low crime are the North Ga Mnt counties.

They oddly enough have very low minority populations..I wonder if their is a connection ?

You have succumbed to fear and hysteria, you think you need a gun in the home in order to be safe that's not going to change if you moved now is it? I am sure you will be safe where you are, and safer still if you take your gun out of your home.

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .

They always trot that out..we have debunked that myth hundreds of times in here..I stopped trying.

There is no point we have discussed these things over 8-9 months or maybe more and it does not lead anywhere.

They will keep on trying to prove how NRA is bad and Guns are bad on and on.... good for them.

Need a gun in the home, need a gun to go out. No thanks, not the kind of life I want to live. The rest of you, however, are free to enjoy the panic that you've brought upon yourselves.

You said in your other post that you all went to eat at a Filipino restaurant in the bad part of town, and 3 out of the 5 men there were armed because you didn't feel safe there. You traveled to where the trouble supposedly is with your wife. Why would any sane person want to do that?

I'm well aware that there is a process to change the constitution. How does that equate to my having a problem because I think it should be changed? It's my opinion that it should be changed, I doubt it ever will.

That is not what has been posted. No one is claiming guns are bad, they are what they are. The NRA is not 'bad' either. It does propogate misleading information about how useful a gun is as a means for personal safety but that doesn't make it bad, it makes those who believe everything they publish myopic but that's not the same thing.

Sure it will be so much safe now only if you can convince the criminal elements in the community.

You should have a gun by the bed, by the couch/computer, and of course, on your person. Plus a couple out in the vehicle too.

Many of you are saying you dont live in fear...but are too scared to live in urban environments. When you move to "the safe ndighborhoods" are you doing so because youre scared?

I've lived in big cities. Felt just as safe in them as I do in my suburban town now.
