Our case has been sent from USCIS to NVC on August 16th . It should be soon that we can make the interview date . We still need a passport for my fiancee child . My question is how reliable is the 2 week delivery for Philippines passport ? Is it bad to make an interview date then to request a change of date ? Just called NVC and have the MNL number now .

Not reliable at all. My fiancée had to wait over a month to receive her passport. When she tried to pay for the "expedited" service, she was told that it wasn't available due to an overwhelming amount of applications. It may or may NOT be available when you apply for your child. I wouldn't count on it.

If I were a betting man, this is one bet that I would pass on. My fiancée's two children, age 20 and 11 both got theirs in about 2 weeks, but the experience each step of dealing with the different Phil governmental entities I wouldn't trust that you will have it two weeks. Give yourself some time.

TD May 23, 2014 Travel Document approved and went for card production

Receipt EAD/AP May 30, 2014 Received combo card EAD/AP

Green Card Approved July 11, 2014 Approved, no interview. Went to card production.

Green Card received July 17, 2014 GC received without interview

Removal of Conditions

Mailed I-751 Dec 16, 2015 Submitted ROC (removal of conditions)

Received Dec 18, 2015 USPS notification of successful delivery

Check Cashed Dec 21, 2015 Check was cashed

NOA-1 Issued Dec 21, 2015 NOA-1 for ROC issued

NOA-1 Issued Dec 26, 2015 NOA-1 Received

Biometrics Appt. Jan 29, 2016 Biometrics Appointment Scheduled [Completed]
