This morning I received my EAD card, along the bottom is reads : serves as I-512 advance parole.

I presume this is my AP.

My question, does this override everything? I'm a current f1 student. I'm enrolled in 12 hours this semester. My visa in my passport expired due to a mistake from my last international advisor. My I-20 has the correct date and doesn't expire until 2014.

Advise please. I want to travel to England for a week tomorrow.

Thanks

You travel on AP, not on your I-20. Don't try to enter as a student, enter on your AP. And yes, as I told you, twice I believe, that is the wording that makes your EAD card also an AP.

Bon voyage!

Who asks you "why are you coming to America?" I would say "I live here" or "Here is my Advance Parole" or "I am married to a citizen" or something.

I think when you present your AP card and passport that question won't even be asked. That seems like a question to ask tourists.
