How did I know? Im saying he never entered the marriage in good faith how did I know before I married him if he was way in Africa. Ive reported him right now at this point its out of my hands I just want to know do I remove the conditions of his green card or do I let the divorce go on. Karma will get him. Yes I do feel as if he should be deported because he lied.

I am sorry this horror is happening and things are being revealed to you. how heartbreaking.

Now to one issue you keep mentioning i don't think you are understanding what "removal of conditions is"

Why in the world would you give him easy access to a 10 year green card? Removing the conditional green card (CR) and after approval you get IR (10 year). he will apply. But since he is in military unless you get your ducks in a row and start getting evidence and mailing and listening to people here he will become a citizen before you can blink.

Who cares who thinks you knew or what this and that. You say you have evidence get your SH@T together and get to mailing dear. Don't arguing with the naysayers. Bump them really. let me stop before I really say what I feel for the rude folk here.

I find it almost sickening our American government allows about anyone in the military and for being a good girl or boy you get citizenship. Some like you who have been through won't care and some fight. Please fight he doesn't deserve the perks you get in the military and really knowing somoeone like that is suppose to be "protecting" me scares me straight.

All the best to you and your children. Please stay safe.

Shame on anyone who thinks the victim has blame in this. It's doesn't take 2 involved parties to carry off a deciept. It is like saying a person that has intercourse with someone with AIDS helped the AIDS get spread if they didn't have a sign that it was being hidden from them. I think there need to be slower tougher rules for the immigrant to remain in the US and quicker exits for those that are shown to be fraudsters. Don't reward evil.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

It's probably best you just move on. Why waste the time. I have notarized proof my last marriage was a fraud but am I going to waste the time dealing with that, no. What goes around comes around and you will just look like the worse person if you continue the pursuit of revenge. There are plenty of fish in the sea. Odds are you saw this coming and ignored the signs.

Just leave it alone so you wont cause yourself any problems, you said you have children right ?

So be there for them and let this guy go and move on. Don't put anymore time or effort into anything that has to do with him.

Go to the gym start working out make yourself look and feel sexy and find another lover but learn from the past ones that didn't work.

One thing you CAN do . He is receiving BAH and BAQ and married/dependent pay while he is on active duty. He MUST send a percentage of that pay

to you until you are divorced . All it takes is one phone call to his commander. Any recruiter can track him down for you.

3 things to advise. Gather all the evidence. Report to the respective team. Move on.

One more thing, if you plan to marry again, make sure "he is entering the marriage with good faith". You of all people should feel if he is sincere or whatever. Good luck.

you seem to me you are full of s*&^ to be honest, it seems like you had no problems with his "illegal" activities while things were good between the two of you but now that hes found another solution to his legal matters you basically want revenge. and yes you probably knew all along about the laptop and other things bought with stolen cc. you know i hate people like you, my wife tends to use this kind of logic with me, if i dont do as she wants or put up with her bs she uses the oh i will divorce you and stuff knowing damn well i need her, its like a power trip. if hes in the army then he will get his citizenship with or without you, get ur divorce and move on.

It seems to me that you have an issue with the OP because of your personal problems with your wife. The problems that the OP is talking about seem to reflect your conflicts and what make you unhappy.

Deal with your problems without "hating people like the OP".

Namaste.

First I apologize that you are in this situation. If you have a video of the abuse, a computer he stole in your possession among other email evidence as stated by others collect all this legitimate information. If your spouse enlisted reporting being married then yes he is entitled to BAH/BAQ only after he applies and birth certificates and marriage certificates are verified by the personnel services battalion. If he does not claim BAH/BAQ it is not automatic he has to provide civil documents. A Commander can only force him to take care of her and any children born to him and perhaps step-children if court ordered.

There are resources available to you as his wife, go speak to a chaplain they are obligated to do something. If his actions are criminal the Chaplain will call CID (criminal investigation division). You can hand over all your evidence to them and CID will contact the Commander. Last resort do a Congressional that pretty much forces the Commander to reply to the Congressman on the issue. It gives the situation visibility up the chain of command plus all responds to the Congressmen have to be complete within 14 days. If your intent is to stop his criminal activities then yes pursue this otherwise I would never recommend revenge it will not address the pain you feel. If it is not addressed, he will offend again in the military they always do and their past catches up to them, this is 22 years of military experience speaking. I have seen so many cases at some point they will need a clearance and the truth comes to light.

Good luck,

lovelady I am sorry you are experiencing such unnecessary outcome with your marriage. Do not take the harsh remarks of less polite members of the VJ, whether they understand you or not that is irrelevant and what matters is that you get this matter to the attention of the right authorities. Please make sure you do and if you have proof of all his illegal doings, we are talking evidence and not just hear-say, then whether he is in the military or not that would matter none. For once he is investigated and charged they will not let him off the hook easily. He will have to face the music as the saying goes.

You need to move on and get your life back on track. Again, I am truly sorry for the hardships you face. Time will heal the wounds.
