Getting nervous

Susie's interview is in less than 24 hours. Susie has been great...she's real organized and has been getting familiar with every little piece of paper she has. With that said, I'm starting to get nervous because I know this is the biggest step in the process so far. I just don't think I could deal with any bad news tomorrow after her interview.

I'll be working tonight and tomorrow for most of the day, so that will keep me busy, but honestly, my mind will be off someplace else. What did you guys do to take your mind off of things?

BTW, I feel obligated to thank everyone for all their help in this process. Blah blah blah...vj invaluable, you guys rule, gas is over 2.00 a gallon

i was at a hotel waiting as they did not allow the uscs into the consulate. tried reading/sleeping/watching tv but no luck. paced the floor most of the time.

i was home drinking and when i talked to sanita after the interview i got wasted and then had to go to work on her case

When I had my interview at the consulate in Singapore, Brandon was already in la-la land because it was 2am in Indiana, but he made me promise several times beforehand that I would call him once I was done. I vaguely remember the phone conversation going like this:

Me: Hey honey. Wakey wakey! I cleared the interview. And my left shoe broke!

Him: Huh? Oh. Yaaay (very sleepily). Oh no (in response to the shoe).

Me: OK, go back to sleep. I'll wake you up at the usual time.

Him: OK, night night. I love you.

Me: I love you too. Bye.

Thanks for the tips. She's as cool as they come. I'm really proud of her...despite all the troubles her family has been through because of the typhoon and she's not in the PI to help, she's still able to keep her head up. I can't wait to see her again and I'm sure everything will be fine tomorrow.

Moh had his interview this morning. I was way more anxious than he was. I pretty much stayed up all night watching late night TV, drinking tea, and smoking ciggees (I started up again ). Just keep reminding yourself that it'll be done and over soon.
