if so, congrats! ,our petition was received on the 31st of august and until now there's no news. not even noa1 .I'm being patient. until I reach my limit!

It took about a week for us to receive noa1. I think the later in the week you do it, the longer it will take (from my own experience). I would be expecting it on Tuesday or Wednesday.

I know, I was hoping I would be processed there before I even sent it in. They need more service centre's for sure.

The waiting should take at most 2 months to everyone. Half a year it's much too long! So I agree, more SC shopuld be made or there should be apart Centers for every petitions. If there would be Centre for K1 petitions only, the process would take faster.

But congartulations to all who got their approval fast!

Received my "A# change" notification today. Cautiously optimistic. Got two text notifications 15 mins apart, hoping that the second one is for NOA2 approval. Online the status still states - Initial Review though

Bummer, just got off the phone with a "Tier 2" USCIS IO and she says that the text/ email-notification received by me about the A# change was just a "glitch" in their system and so the saga continues...

Seems like Texas Service Center is not yet processing us August Filers unlike CSC.. feelin' kinda jealous right now lol

Fiance got NOA1 hardcopy today!Oh Yay! It was sent to CSC. Alien number changed too. I'm so excited!

Surprising its just the two of us here who have applied in August

We filed ours last August 27 through a lawyer and he pay it up front and still got no words til now

Oh, cheer up! You will hear something soon and there's no such thing as paying it up front. You pay the fee with a check and upon receiving the petition, the USCIS will cash the check. If you still don't hear anything by next week, I suggest you call the lawyer and ask.

You don't need a lawyer for this but it has been done so I wish you luck!

Approval in 26 days for someone who applied at TSC instead of CSC! Now that gives me hope
