green card inquiry

I am needing to contact the St.Louis Homeland security office and talk to an actual person about the status of my case.I'm due to receive my card and I'm wanting to know what the status is and I have only been able to get recorded messages and the info given is old and not current.Any advice?

Make an infopass appointment and take the earliest date.... or see if that office allows walkins and on what day.

They dont answer questions on the phone only info-pass appointment, or call the national USCIS 800 number, or use the online system.

Yes. Accept the fact that if you want a real answer from a person who actually knows what they're talking about, you have to drive 3 hours to get it.

Try the hotline first, but be prepared to be disappointed.
