I don't know what the current vaccine checking person accepts. Revaxis is the Td/IPV version so it meets the Td requirement so probably. When my husband went, the person doing it made a big deal about pertussis specifically. He went back to his GP and got DTP (baby version) and had it faxed to Knightsbridge before they completed his form (and released to London). I haven't heard any uproars about Pertussis in a long time. So I presume with Revaxis, they mark Td or Tdap as complete. Maybe the one working now thinks that Tdap (US terminology) means polio. Doesn't matter as long as she marks it complete. I certainly wouldn't bring up the word pertussis if they don't.

You also need a flu jab and claim to have had chickenpox. If your GP won't give a flu jab, then go to Boots, Tesco or someplace like that. Probably cheaper than Knightsbridge.

ok, thanks that would be great smile.png Good luck tomorrow!!!

Thank you! It went very well. Nothing at all to worry about :) It was all very professional and the staff were very friendly.

Ok so about the shots. Last week I got 3 shots;

1) MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) (The booster, I had the other as a child) -Free on NHS

2) TD-IPV (Tetanus, Diphtheria, Polio) - Free on NHS

3) Influenza (Flu shot from Boots) - cost me £12.99. If you get it at the medical its £22.00.

I did not need any other shots. They did not mention pertussis. I looked at my vaccinations sheet from my nurse at my local DRs and I had this shot 3 times as a baby. You should check your vaccinations history and see if this is the case for you too. It is also documented on my official papers from the medical as a completed series.

They gave me a medical record and said that I am up to date and to keep it safe for AOS :)

Thanks for the info! And congrats on it all going smoothly :)

I just have a hand written record and it says dip/tet/pol but I think I will call and ask my nurse for a printed out version of my records and hopefully it will all be ok!

Good luck with the next stage!
