When I look on the USCIS website to check the status of my petition it is at the "post decision activity" stage. But it doesnt not say whether it was approved or not it just says this....

"On August 15, 2013, we shipped this approved or re-affirmed case to the Department of State for visa processing. For more information, please contact them directly."

Does this mean it was approved or not approved or a final decision hasnt been made??

05/03/2013 received by Dallas-lock box

05/07/2013 NOA1 hard copy

05/13/2013 Alien number change a email from USCIS

07/29/2013 NOA2 Approval email from USCIS

08/03/2013 NOA2 Hard Copy Recieved

08/16/2013 file sent to NVC

08/19/2013 Called DOS told NVC received file case number given.

08/21/2013 file in transit to London embassy as stated on CEAC website also spoke to DOS to confirm

08/28/2013 file ready according to CEAC website

08/30/2013 packet 3 sent with DS-2001

O9/05/2015 medical appointment

09/06/2013 packet 3 arrived in the mail.

09/10/2013 CEAC update medical result received by embassy

10/04/2013 CEAC update dos says waiting to give interview date

10/11/2013 packet 4 interview letter arrived

10/22/2013 interview at London embassy

10/22/2013 Approved the visa

10/29/2013 visa delivered

1/31/2014 I-485 accepted receipt number and hard copy has been sent. Processed at National Benefits Centre.

1/28/2014 I-131 application for travel documents in initial review receipt number given and hard copy has been sent

1/28/2014 I-765 application for employment authorization in initial review receipt number given and hard copy has been sent.

2/7/2014 (day11) noa1 hard copy arrived in the mail for I-485 I-131 I-765

2/14/2014 (day18) biometric appt letter arrived in the mail. Appt schedualled for 2/26/2014 11.00am.

2/18/2014 (day 22) biometrics successful walkin.

4/01/2014 faxed expedite supporting documents to number on letter sent to me. Waiting waiting waiting

4/03/2014 (68 days) EAD and AP approved text message sent status post decision. Hooray !!!

4/7/2014 (72 days ) status change to card in production for EAD.

4/10/2014 ( 75 days) status changed after calling uscis regarding urgency of EAD. Also usps tracking number at 20.580pm

But looking at other threads people got different messages saying it was actually approved....under my post decision activity it doesnt say that it issss approved

On other peoples it says that they received an email and a letter is sent in the mail...just curios because my case says none of that

When did you last check? Whats the date on noa1? Your a tsc transfer right?

Congrats!you've been aprroved nd soon u'll get ur case number frm nvc. when thy send u noa2 hard copy thn uscis status 'll be changed into document production.. plz fill ur time line :)

TSC sent out the different email compared to VSC.

Yes. You got approved and it is on the way to NVC.

My fiancee came to US on the 8th of March, 2014 under K-1 visa at Newark, NJ Airport for POE.

Applied Social Security Number on the 10 of March, 2014.

Married on the 13th of March, 2014.

Sent I-485, I-765, and I-131 on the 15th of March, 2014.

Received EAD on June 7, 2014.

Received Notice of Potential Interview Waiver on July 1, 2014 date 6/27

Contacted Ombudsman on 01/12/2015.

Ombudsman contacted USCIS on 02/20/2015.

Ombudsman sent a follow up to USCIS on 03/18/2015.

I-485 approved on 03/31/2015 ( we ordered your card).

Welcome notice was mailed on 04/01/2015.

Received Welcome Notice on 04/08/2015.

Card was mailed to me/picked up by USPS on 04/08/2015.

Received GC on 4/10/2015.

But how do you know its been approved because it says weve shipped this approved orrrr re-affirmed petition...it doesnt say anywhere that its been approved...im just curious as to how you can know its approved?

im looking at it right now and our NOA1 was April 6th and yes im a transfer

Then you have been approved. Call NVC and ask if they have your case. Although it is taking some time for tsc transfers to get a case number no harm in calling to check. Your noa2 hard copy will also take time to come in the post.

But how do you know its been approved because it says weve shipped this approved orrrr re-affirmed petition...it doesnt say anywhere that its been approved...im just curious as to how you can know its approved?

You can always call uscis to be sure.

You got approved before shipping to NVC. If you did not, it would stay at TSC.

This is VSC

On July 23, 2013, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E).

TSC says that the USCIS website has problem which they did not update correct the status. Many people had called USCIS and found out that they got approved without any text, email even USCIS website does not show they got approved.

Call them tomorrow to check again to make sure.

I understand your worry. You have not received a hard copy confirming your approval yet so what you could dro is use this as a opportunity to call uscis and ask where your hard copy is and when did you get approved and how long would it take for NVC to generate a case number.
