Hello all,

I have a question ? My wife's I-485 APPLICATION TO ADJUST TO PERMANENT RESIDENT STATUS was transfer to Missouri Service Center from the California Service Center. On the web site for processing dates for the Missouri Service Center, they don't even have the I-485. Could something here be wrong. Thanks for the help.

Tell me, where does the word "transferred" appear in the notice you got? Did you even get a notice saying it was transferred to Missouri, or are you just assuming because the text of the case status online changed?

Quick answer: It wasn't transferred. Don't worry about it. The USCIS website is lying to you.

In Notice Type on the I-797C, Notice of Action it has the word Transfer Notice.

And you got this in the mail? A letter saying you had been transferred to MISSOURI? Or are you talking about the letter when you got transferred to California?

OK. That's a first!

Never heard of anyone getting transferred from CSC back to MSC before.

Sorry if I assumed you were making a mistake, but I've never heard of what happened to you happening.

You have filed for AOS right? Did you file to the Chicago Lockbox?

Yes, I filed AOS at Chicago Lockbox, then transferred to CSC and then Transferred to MSC. Its making me crazy and I can not get any answers from the USCIS.

there are several people who, after being transferred to CSC, are now back in NBC.

That is certainly weird. I assume they decided that you needed to go for interview after all.

...checked online and it said the same thing "MISSOURI SERVICE CENTER" for my wife's EAD........

Not the same thing. Most EADs are processed at the MSC.
