My first post after reading through this site carefully to assure I am not wasting time/hopes. But this place definitely passes the sniff test as everyone here seems to be very supportive and knowledgeable.

I guess I have to start like everyone else, and that is with getting some confirming some of observations.

My gut is telling me I may be getting very lucky in the fact that my case was transferred from Vermont to TSC only after 63 days (NOA1 June 3, 2013), as I see many of these poor souls only being transferred after 5-6 months later. But then I notice many that were transferred to TSC were approved in 19-26 days following the transfer notice. Is it fairly safe to assume mine would follow suite and I could actually see an NOA2 inside three months?? Maybe I’m reading too much into it, but obviously like everyone else here, I have high hopes. We have also engaged a lawyer (In Hine site, maybe a waste of $2K), but he indicates our case should easily be approved as all the credentials are there and there is no questionable items.

Wishful thinking? I think my bigger problem will be once the NVC packet arrives in China and trying to get an appointment? I don’t like the postings where is see some ####### about a “gang of 6” in QQ, i.e. another Chinese ploy to shake you down for some money?

Thanks for the feedback. That's great and helps confirm my notion. Sounds like everyone who gets teansferred to Texas hears something back under 30 days.

As long as you received the notification, I would assume it automatically gets forwarded to the NVC, correct? Meaning the hard copy of approval serves little purpose other than record keeping?

From what I have been reading, there may be some information in it such as the time limit to apply for an interview. Also, it seems that during the whole process such as AOS and probably everyone else involved wants to see a copy of the NOA2. I would prefer to have it before the process goes too far along.

Hard copy of NOA2 I-129F approval notice is needed for AOS, so make sure to hang onto it.
