NBC is in a transition period now for I-130. I talked to a tier 2 last week and she told me to expect to hear something from USCIS first week of October. My PD is April 03, 2013.

Interesting, so now they are going to hold off on all the I-130 adjudication until the end of September? Someone once said, "Government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the Earth." I wish this was true in this 20th century.

I think we will continue to see random approval now until September when most I-130 will start getting adjudicated.

For all those whose cases are with NBC, keep your hopes high. I am certain once NBC transitions all I-130 petitions to its Kansas location, we will start seeing more adjudicated cases.

For those with their cases at local office, I can't really say much than for them to take infopass to inquire about their respective cases.

I was waiting in Vermont Service Center for 8 months sad.png Form I-130

I'm surprised you were in Vermont and that you weren't transferred given your timeframe. Most with your timeframe were transferred to NBC or were there originally! Interesting! :)

New petitions aren't sent to VSC or CSC anymore but to NBC.

ok, my story:

Explains my husband:

"As a green card holder I sent for my immediate two family members the I-130 form on April 3rd, 2012. A permanent resident can file one I-130 for the two members inclusively for a spouse and a child.
Few months later I became American citizen on September 6th, 2012. Then I called the USCIS to upgrade my case status where USCIS agent suggested filing a I-129f for my spouse and my child for K3-K4 visa. On April 10th, 2013 USCIS approved my two forms I-130 and I-129f. NVC had closed the form I-129f simply to proceed on I-130 on which my child was ineligible to continue with a single I-130.
NVC agent suggested sending a Form I-130 for a child. My child's form was sent on May 10th, 2013.
I requested USCIS to expedite my child's I-130 form. I was advised to write a request in the mail, include the certificate of citizenship, the NOA1 receipt letter. I was assured that this will be enough to expedite. I have been waiting for two months for the USCIS to respond but no news though they promised to send a message or agent will call to me. NVC assured that American Embassy can help me in Lithuania during the interview. At this moment we have to cases one in NVC (my spouse) and one in NBC (my child)".
