Yes, in our case, we got the approval on July 25th and got our hard copy by snail mail the week after that, then on August 15th they sent us the email that our papers were sent to the NVC...but I called today to DOS, and no news yet sad.png

I still havent received anything in hard copy since NOA1. :(

Your case probably arrived at NVC with the others, it just wasn't entered into the system yet and assigned an NVC number.

Oh, I really hope so...! We r kind of desperate, this delay has compromised our plans enormously :(

Is incredible but all the people I know from the process got the case number less than a 2 weeks from NOA2

ok, roll call! call out only those people who received electronic notification in July/August and were transferred to Texas, and more than a 3 week timespan before receiving NOA2 hardcopy and subsequently an NVC case number, or have still not received one or both.

We are in the same boat. I called USCIS regarding the NOA2 hard copy and all they can tell me is to wait until 100 days after approval have elapsed and that i=only then they could do something to help me, but that for now there is no action they can take on this matter, that those are the rules and that they cannot break them blah blah blah...

I also call NVC every day and they have not received anything yet, and they told it can take up to 30 days for them to receive it as well... I don't even know what to think anymore.

what is worse is that i-129f approvals are only valid for 4 months, and police reports are only good for 3 months! everything here has a shelf life, and seems to be pending a process that has so little regulation and oversight.

Guys, I don´t know if this will help, but actually we had received our NOA2 hard copy and we still don´t have our case number in the NVC, so I don´t think that it really depends on that. In fact probably our batch is at the NVC already but we are in the last part of the queue to assign the case number :(

NVC already received my file our file, but they haven't assigned a number yet, how long do they usually take to add a number?

We are definitely in the same batch, I got the same response an hour ago, until what time the NVC is working? Could be possible to get the case number at night?

Congratulations!dancin5hr.gif

They work until 12:00am

I called them and asked if they really had received the file and the lady said yes, but that there is no number assigned yet. It could take them 10 to 20 days to assign a case number, though for what I have seen it takes them way less than that. I would contact them tomorrow to see if they have already done so.

For sure is much faster than that. In fact I also called today in the morning and the response was that the NVC didn´t have it yet, and in the afternoon was there. So it seems that our batch arrived during noon. The lady told me today that most likely tomorrow I could have the case number...I´ll try to call at night anyway. Keep u updated if I get a response.
