Just spoke with DOS, told me my case is at NVC but said I have to call NVC to get my case number. I talked to NVC this morning and they said no case number yet, will try again now.

It's strange cos I was able to get my case number from dos today. So why couldn't you get yours off them? Why have you still got to call up NVC.

I was approved on 7/24 transferred from VSC TO TSC JUST LIKE YOU BUT MY FILE IS STILL STUCK AT TSC

I would think its time to send a email. It's taking too long now.

Just scheduled the interview for my fiancee for Aug 29th, hope the files get to the consulate on time, if not, will have to reschedule. fingers crossed

That's good. I am waiting for the file to leave NVC before I contact my consulate. Meanwhile I have to go do my medical. So will book that tomorrow.

That's good. I am waiting for the file to leave NVC before I contact my consulate. Meanwhile I have to go do my medical. So will book that tomorrow.

Will they forward the report to the consulate within a day? Check how quick cos you don't want it to be a case where they have not received medical when she interviews

We were transferred on the 15th and I called DOS this morning, hey said they don't have the file yet, to try again in a week or two :(

Should I call again to see if NVC has it?

I just finished with NVC on the phone and they still don't have my file, plus the lady told me I have to wait 8 weeks after the approval date :( So frustrating... but I will try back tomorrow, maybe they'll have it.
