Asia - I'm happy to report that the Derailer (pbuh) has had one rift deleted by a mod, no input from me to any mod. Sure, I wrote a bit about the derailing in that post, and had my post deleted when a mod stepped in. It was a small victory !!! I'm grinning from ear to ear about it.

Was that the one where I tagged on to your eloquent words? I didn't keep track of which one that was (but it was from yesterday), and I didn't Report it, either.

My fist hot-dog ever!

Two foreign immigrants have just arrived in the United States by boat. As they discuss their expectations of American culture, one says to the other, "I hear that the people of this country actually eat dogs."

"Odd," his companion replies, "but if we shall live in America, we should do as the Americans do."

Nodding emphatically, the first immigrant points to a hot-dog vendor, and they both walk toward the cart. "Two dogs, please," he says. The vendor, only too pleased to oblige, wraps both hot dogs in foil and hands them over the counter. Excited, the companions hurry to a bench and begin to unwrap their "dogs."

One of them opens the foil and begins to blush. Staring at it for a moment, he turns to his friend and whispers cautiously, "What part did YOU get?"

I can't tell a white guy from Canada from some white guy in Norway from some white guy in South Africa, so they're all white people. Is there a better phrase??

Holy shat. The reliance on "god" to get a visa is so, so messed up.

You blaspheme all who know that God jostles the pen of the adjudicator to approve the petition, and God causes the consular officer to ignore all misrepresentation during the interview!

I found Mrs. T-B. an Oneida cooking-pot and some miscellany for myself, si man.

yes, there's a vine scaffold above the kitchen. But rain is rain..........

I am now limping on the stairs. Banged my knee at the dock twice, on the same spot. I think I bruised a tendon.....
