Na, I'm not offended.

Situational awareness is a godsend (whoever she is).

Is interesting, I've never shucked it off (SA) and I've never been wrong.

Still, I worry that I know too much about blades and instruments with blades and how to disable an opponent with a blade, as I pitch into my retiring years.... Maybe I'll focus more on ping pong for relaxation... One can hope...

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

Eh - maybe.

I've other hardcore skills with organic gardening and material re-use - here in USA that's actually a highly sought-after lecture topic.

I'll leave the blade training to the DIs at all Marine Training Facilities (Boot Camp, Barracks, Consular Training, Ship Training, whatever...) as the younger fellas that know how, have some interest in training others.

I have no interest in training others for most blade combat. WIth the exception of sabre. I'd happily train in a salle d'arms for sabre, any day. There's no real money in it, though, and I truly not posses the deep intestinal fortitude and love of that 'sport' to teach it properly.

Properly = for points. I don't play for points - I play (or played) for death. Theirs, not mine... OK OK - for 2 years in uni I played for points. Never after uni, though... It was blood, after...

Funny you should call it ;)

I've been doing professional organic gardening the last 8 years.

Plus tons of lectures and student trips into my gardens.

I'm not hurting for work or monies.

Organic gardening is just a professional hobby for me. I've made money at it, I'll continue to make money at it, but it's not my #1 money maker.

I'm retired. I not need to work to make monies for anything. Still, I keep my hand in a number of pots/piles, because it interests me.

I've no interest in teaching anyone about blades, combat with blades, or other professional killing techniques. There's professional schools for that - I'm way too old to have a real interest or be eligible to teach at a professional school.

Doesn't mean I don't carry a blade. I do, most of the time. Sure, it's not a sabre, but that's not the point.

I'll give you a quote from my favorite author...

A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. Specialization is for insects.

Well, that's me. And some other fellas that I know...

1) So you're all okay. It's good to still have some activities when you don't have to work and you don't worry about money too much.

2) Well, that's definitely not me ;) I am able to do only a half of things from that list :)

Anyway, off today to see Mother Comrade (or Comrade Mother). Doctors say her speech will improve in 3 weeks or so. And she'll go down to Comrade Nana to recover for a while away from stress and the like. So things are generally looking positive.

In one post........

how's the cooking coming along, SteKlar ?

No cook....pepperoni pizza.....

Ah -- ready to become an American chica, we see, man. They can awaken from a sound sleep at 2 a.m. to go downstairs and rearrange all the furniture, ouch man when one lurches into it in the dark, man.

Tiff, last night, 1 am......

Same here! :D

OK, and I've got a question for you all...

No googling!

I'm going from Wroclaw to Zakopane (which is near the place my sister and her family already is) by night train.

Zakopane is 418 km (216 miles) from Wroclaw.

There's 22 stops between Wroclaw and Zakopane, which is ridiculous, since it's night, but okay

Guess how long will it take to travel there?

This is a marklan trick question!

The train never gets there. In Poland, the trains go backwards!

Apologies. I was a producer in my prior life, and had legal protections in place, as well as social protections, to cover my output.

I've no idea why you wanted to engage about IP with me. None, whatsoever.

In my prior life, I was the queen of England :)

Before that I was a royal bishop riding on my horse...

But alas I was polish, and so I was e're lost.....

Sorry, I totally missed this post, because I was doing the catch up, Skipper! ;)

I'll go there tonight. To be there in the morning tomorrow.

Haven't started packing yet lol.

And where are you going on your trip?

Safe travels!

PS - oh, I thought it was only a Polish thing, or something. Good to know it's not :)

If its a nudist colony, just pack dental floss, toothbrush, and a big thing of baby oil......

where? me? I'm off to Wuhan, then Guangzhou. Then Chengdu. Then 2 days in Singapura, to get meds at the open counter at Mustafa. (no scrip needed)

Skipklar, how many times you want me to tell you, you can get Viagra in HK......

Yesssssssssssssss! :D

OK!

Hope I didn't offend you with my concern about your safety and all... :)

I know Marines are the toughest guys ever :D

I tougher than the skipper :)

Everyone knows that the Brooklyn college fencing team produces more Olympic fencing champions than any place else.......now if they'd only produce graduates.......

Anyway, off today to see Mother Comrade (or Comrade Mother). Doctors say her speech will improve in 3 weeks or so. And she'll go down to Comrade Nana to recover for a while away from stress and the like. So things are generally looking positive.

Our regards to mum......

In the last several pages, I have come to realize 3 things........

1- that the geysers boneklar and skipklar are loaded.......

2- that something has made them rich......

3- Poland has lots of nudist colonies

4- Brooklyn college graduates are sucky......
