Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

I got nothing planned for any big celebration - mostly it's pack and pack and pack, plus shopping shopping shopping.

I'll bet SteKlar has over 100 people over, less than half he actually knows ;)

um...I invited about 6 people.....

I dunno how many Tiff invited. But I've learned to go by weight. 2 lbs of food per person. I have about 70 lbs gross weight so far. Thank heavens I have 4 full sized refrigerators and 1 deep freezer in the house.....

Hubs gets 4 days off instead of 3. Tomorrow will be me driving for about 12 hours. Saddest 12 hours EVER.

wow, 12 hrs? where are you dropping your daughter off?

and don't be sad.....it's farewell. Not goodbye. But I know....you're sad. sad.png

yes 2 lbs per person is a good rule of thumb to ensure that you don't run outta food. More so in case more guests than expected shows up. Now the 2 lbs does not include vegies. It's 2 lbs of meat basically, per person.

hey btw......if you're sad, then I'm sad. And I'm pretty sure we're all sad.......

so, please don't be sad........I'll let you punch the ####### outta the old man........

12 hours is pretty good for round trip. It's 5.5ish to where I'm meeting her dad. Last time we met 8ish hours away so it was an 17 hour round trip.

She promised next time to try and take the plane.

and speaking of the old man.....he's gotta be packing like 99 lbs of american ginseng and 1 lb of skivvies for his trip.....

oh - plus 4 cartons of branded cigs, old vintage lighters for same, 4 iPhones, 2 Gucci bags, and a ton of original paperwork. so, really, that's on 65 pounds of wisconsin ginseng.

plus cash. ye gods. I know, electronic stuff is easier, but cash in hand , given over to another's hand, has more power. at least in the two families (sp?) I'll be seeing with Hyacinth. (yes, that's her new Marklar name this season).

I'm a bit sad, I've some really good box cab sav and I'm not bringing it.

I imagine right about now, he took out 2 twenties from his pocket and hes looking at them. He's saying to himself...."#######, which 1 is the 1 Steve gave me?"

No Polish insults if Asia is on-line, no man.

A Texas Aggie stooped to pick up something from the floor in the crowded lobby of a bank. He looked around and announced loudly, "Did someone here drop a large roll of bills with a rubber band around them?"

Several people said, "I did! I did!"

"Well, I just now found the rubber band," said the Aggie.
