I want to beat my phone until it blows up. Everytime someone calls or I call someone, it goes on speaker (#######?! I don't even has that as a setting anywhere) and it tries to start the in phone GPS whenever i reboot the phone. #######?! I just recently did a factory reset because it wasn't liking my new sim card. Now it's really mucked. I'm trying to send myself all the photos off the phone so I can just factory reset, again, but this time include the SD card. (I'd just yank the pictures off onto the computer but it's not reading it as a disk drive and I cannot find my little min SD holder.

It's an HTC desire HD.

I dropped it on the pavement the other day. Still broked. This phone has been thrown across a room... but it had a case on it at the time. Heck I'm surprised it still works even a little bit. Those two things though, are very annoying.

Well, there's no reason you can't get the files from the micro sd card. Just gotta fiddle with it.

I think it'd be easier to get a micro-sd carrier and use that to load stuff into computer.

Failing that, a data cable is useful. But you've already said the pooter not recognize it when you try to mount it.

I have an American bank account.(chase). I was disgusted to learn that Chase wouldn't fedex me a new card to Japan. #######. I can make international money transfers in minutes, but they won't extend the courtesy of sending me a new card within days.

Odd. I have a jpmorganchase card issued by my company. Lost it (along with wallet) in Amsterdam airport. I called and after confirming my identity, they agreed to send one wherever I wanted them to. I was in the UK, but going on to Italy then Thailand. They actually generated the card in Germany, sent via DHL to my agents office in Milan. Got it from the agent, went they the security screening over the phone and they activated it.

Maybe they look at credit and debit cards differently.

Maybe more to do with it being a corporate card issued in my name versus a personal card.

My other CC story: I also left it in China once at a Starbucks in Shanghai and left to go to Guangzhou. Realized it when I got to my hotel in GZ. Called the hotel I had stayed at (Portman Ritz Carlton next to the Starbucks). One of their employees went to the Starbucks, retrieved my card, and Fedex'ed it to my hotel for the following night in Hong Kong. It was waiting for me when I arrived. Great customer service by the Portman. They always get my business when I go to Shanghai now.

She said the computer was made in Poland. And it didn't recognize the phone as a device.
