I have an American bank account.(chase). I was disgusted to learn that Chase wouldn't fedex me a new card to Japan. #######. I can make international money transfers in minutes, but they won't extend the courtesy of sending me a new card within days. What a joke. I hate banks (all over the world).

Watch out. You might get throat cancer.

Citibank is better for that frenchy....

I usually reserve my opinion here. But in this case, I must criticize......

During this time of your life together, Your husband should be super extra nice/ courteous/ considerate/ respectful etc.....

You're both making a huge transition. But you more so. You're starting a new life, in a new country. And he's not doing his part to help.....

In personal experience, I helped Tiffany adjust to life here with kid gloves. And again when we got married. (Now I only beat her up once a week).

I hope he realizes what he's doing and comes around. You don't deserve this.

The problem is he turns into a different person when he's drunk. Today he got up and hugged me like nothing had happened, he doesn't even remember yesterday. I told him why I'm mad and now I'm giving him the silent treatment but I don't think he realizes that I am expecting him to come in here an apologize.

I'm the beneficiary.

But I can't believe Chase is so deficient regards international customers. As I stated before, I spent an hour on the phone being transferred to various departments, and having to give personal information each time, for security reasons, and in the end had to request my card be sent to my NY address. #######? What if I were an international reporter in Syria? I would be f¥ckd . This should not be happening in the 21st century.

With any bank, you'll have to give your personal info over and over.

It's been my experience that Citibank is better for personal and international service. HSBC the worst.

Yeah. His drinking has been a problem since day one, so.. maybe I'm the idiot for marrying him. I feel that it's been getting better/less frequent. We've had this talk so many times I just don't know what to do.

(part of the problem is that I like to drink a lot too. but I'm not a bad drunk like he is)

I have been in a relationship with an alchoholic. It is tough. Concentrate on your own personal goals. Hopefully he will work through his issues,but put yourself first.

I'm not sure if I'm in denial but I wouldn't classify him as an alcoholic. It's not like he'll go get drunk at a bar by himself, or that he drinks everyday. It's just, when we go out with friends he starts drinking beer and after a few of them he forgets he's not supposed to drink liquor, and then things sometimes get out of hand. As long as he sticks to beer he's ok.
