you guys ever notice that when you're extra filthy? and you go to take a shower and scrub extra hard? and when you come out, you feel extra clean?

for instance, I touched fish and bait with my hands today. But my azz didn't smell like fish....but yet I scrubbed it extar hard, and now it's the cleanest it's been in years :) . What's you guys thoughts on ?/!/. in relation to quotation marks. If something in quotes ends the sentence, even if only a word, does the punctuation go inside or outside the quotes? What if its an entire sentence in the quotes?

Dunno if anyone else has answered within the subsequent zillion pages that I haven't yet read, no man, but, see man:

Commas and periods always go inside quotation marks: "No exceptions, no man," he said.

If the ? or the ! is part of the sentence or phrase that's being quoted, it will go inside the q-marks: "Si, man?!" he asked incredulously. "Si?!"

If not, it goes outside the q-marks: Did he just say "si, man"?

Answered, huh man?

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).
