I prefer Corned Beef.

An Englishman visited the U.S. corn belt for the first time. He was most impressed with the livestock and slaughterhouse operations.

"What do you do with all of this food?" he asked.

His guide said, "We eat what we can and what we can't, we can."

The Englishman found this to be hilarious, and he related the story to his associates upon his return home.

"And you know what the Colonist said to me?" he told them. "He said, 'We eat what we are able and what we cannot eat, we put into tins!'"

You keep eating your rabbit food for a week!

I opened the refrigerator door today and was astonished to see a live rabbit in there.

"What are YOU doing here?" I asked.

"This is a Westinghouse, isn't it?" asked the rabbit.

"Si, man," I said.

"Well," said the rabbit, "I'm just westing."

Too bad it's over 100 degrees outside cray5ol.gif

What a wimp, man. We Texans are just beginning to think about shedding our Arctic parkas at that temperature, si man.

Thrilling repartee again tonight, sigh man. It reminds us of the rhetorical Q: "If a man says something and no one is around to hear it, is he still wrong?"

It rained all day here (?!!!) and the mosquitoes are reproducing hurriedly and efficiently, bite man. I shall perform the usual tasks of not emptying the dishwarsher (no such activity tonight), ministering to the cat, and going to bed, zzz man.

SO CUTE!

So I've been looking for a job for 2 weeks now and It's already starting to drive me crazy. I've gotten one interview so far, thanks to a contact I have at a consulting firm, but I've heard nothing from the 20+ online applications I've filled in online so far.. most of which I fulfilled all the requirements for :/

That was my most recent job search too. I applied to 5-10 places a day and heard back from maybe three out of the countless ones I applied to. Good luck and don't give up! The right one will come along :)

Surely it is tougher in Spain to find a job? Good luck hunting anyway.

You'd think so... but somehow I was able to get internships pretty easily. Maybe it's just easier to get an internship in general. (I've even applied to a few internships here but I haven't even heard back from those!)

Also, in Spain almost all jobs required decent English skills... So I kind of stood out among the crowd in that department. Here I don't think my Spanish skills have quite the same effect lol.
