Ah that's what I should set up a booth for as the next big state fair food, Cuy on a Stick! But where does one get a million Cuy on short order?

Import them from Ecuador, Colombia, & Peru, si man. They actually do spit some of them.

I'll never forget when I went into a casual restaurant (some sit-down, some carry-out) in Ecu and saw two panels on the wall: prices for various chicken dishes, and prices for cuy dishes, gag man.

Speaking of imports from Ecu: When Mrs. T-B. was rather new here (having just been imported), I took her to a Goodwill store, where she wanted to buy an item by Banana Republic. I grinned at this. She asked why. I explained what banana republics were. She considered this and then said, "Bananas are one of Ecuador's chief exports."

last time I slept that late was when I first got back from Asia.

What is this world we live in that they find it appropriate to call people at 5am to tell them they don't have to come in at work at 6am.

A Texas Aggie was awakened by a phone call in the middle of the night. "Hello?" he answered sleepily.

I would be the following, si man:

-- A bull, so I could go through a china shop.

-- An industrial-sized Ecuadorian boa-constrictor, si man. I would hang by my tail from a tree all day until lunch walked by, in the form of a human or a donkey. I'd slither down and swallow it whole, then nap for 3 days while digesting it. Heaven, gee man.

-- A giant clam, at the bottom of the ocean. I would be as happy as a clam, although why would be both clear and unclear.

No dishes again tonight (this bodes mightily ill for Saturday night, sigh man), and must arise early on the morrow, not for solo garage-sale excursions, but to take the human brood across town to a park (for Mini-B.), to three excellent resale stores (for moi and Mrs. T-B., and possibly Mini-B.), and also to sneak in some garage sales, because I'm sneaky, driving, and in charge of the GPS, si man.
