Great to see everyone getting together. My fiancé and I still have some things to tie up before we can proceed with the visa journey. I hope we can spend Christmas together. This year has just flown by. Sigh.

Great to see everyone getting together. My fiancé and I still have some things to tie up before we can proceed with the visa journey. I hope we can spend Christmas together. This year has just flown by. Sigh.

It has flown by, but at the same time I feel like it's been the biggest slow-drain on my soul.

I love a guy who looks like he could be on Criminal Minds as either an agent or a killer.

YAY Darnell!! Congrats to you and it is about time! Just popped in for a visit (since I started working and been super busy..haven#t had time to be on my favorite site) and this was the first post that I saw. Very happy for you.

YAY Darnell!! Congrats to you and it is about time! Just popped in for a visit (since I started working and been super busy..haven#t had time to be on my favorite site) and this was the first post that I saw. Very happy for you.

It's a lot of stress, removed. I'm happy for the removal, and so is Mrs. Darnell. I'm just hoping the IV unit gets it all out the door on Monday - that'd be sweet. If after Monday, I fear the 'stop the gov spending' bits from 1 OCT forward. Unsure how/if it'll affect stuff at the consulate.

Official line from the DOS is that each Consulate will close on a case-by-case basis as they run out of funds, according to one of the bloody numerous threads all over the forum.

T-B, assuming you're back tonight and read this, I think you've got your work cut out and might need to make one super-thread.. there's 3-4 separate ones right now.
