1. I've always thought that Washington Irving had his names reversed. Maybe he was on a list somewhere as "Washington, Irving" and people didn't pay attention to the comma, no see man.

Where are more of our formerly-regular contributors? ("Regular" meaning one thing and not the other.)

All right, sigh man: Mrs. T-B. has decided that she wants a glass cooktop. I am not going to shell out $800+ or other ridiculous sum for an induction model, appealing though those are. In fact, I'm uncrazy about paying retail for anything new, either (principle of the thing, see man).

Just saw the IKEA catalog tonight - 30 inch induction tabletop @ 990.. or was it 900 ?

Suggestion - there's always returns at IKEA. Find out which days they have the 'open box' sales and get busy.

Won't be 100 bucks, but should be at least half.

It's good. I've not watched anything in a long time that's actually caused me to feel sorry for what happens to some of the characters. Those Emmys are well deserved.
