y u no fix dishwasher?

Bought gnu one, see several posts back, man. Figured out how to get good results from it, and it seems fine, si man, except that Mini-Bone has out-figured how to punch the button to cancel the cycle, wee man.

I did swap the silverware-holder for the one from the old machine -- old one has 8 equal-sized compartments, whereas new one has 6 (2 small, 2 large, 2 small). I divvy up the silverware items in particular ways out of habit, see man.

This segues into the reason for having run two dishwarsher loads today. We arose far too early on a very rainy Saturday and went to a large church garage sale. There was far less there than in the last church GS, but Mrs. T-B. found a soup-pot, I found a sweatband, Mini-B. found a toy, and Mrs. T-B. wheedled me into buying a large, very nice glass shelf. This was priced at $60, but the staffers offered flexibility (having heard me say truthfully that I didn't have that much cash), and Mrs. T-B. offered $40, and that was acceptable. Mrs. T-B. then got them to agree to $35. A guy there disassembled it to fit in our trunk (it had almost quit raining by then). Mini-B. was becoming cantankerous, so we agreed to unload the thing at home where Mrs. T-B. would reassemble it, and I would continue on the GS hunt.

(Here we finally get to the answer to the opening line of the above paragraph, gee man.) I went to a moving sale where I got 3 large glass bowls (for salads or whatever) for $2, a bag of plastic containers for $2, and a book and alphabet game for Mini-B. for $1. I warshed (Texas spelling) the glass bowls amidst other stuff this afternoon, and the plastic stuff is drying off or reforming into new melted shapes in the machine at this writing, si man.

When I got home after running other errands, Mrs. T-B. had the new shelf in the living room, sparkling clean, decorated with stuff that she thought ought to be there. One thing about Mrs. T-B.: she has wanted to buy a lot of furniture, but she always has a distinct mental picture of what it's for and what it ought to look like, see man.

-------

In other thrilling news: when the rain quit, the sun came out and the wind blew. The grass (or the above-ground part, at least) became dry enough to mow, which was needed after a week of chiefly rainy days, so I did so. It was just tall enough to nearly kill me -- should have had the side-discharge thing on there instead of mulching, but whatever -- and yet I made it through. Wonder what the cardiovascular system would have done without the pre-mowing aspirin, huh man.

Tiff has now gave her fever and cough to me and the baby.....

TB or not TB;

That is the congestion.

Consumption be done about it?

Of cough! Of cough!

Oh -- one of the above errands was to visit Aldi Foods, where I hadn't been in a while. Bought one of their 16" pepperoni 'zas for $5.99. Mrs. T-B. & I agree that it was the best 'za of which we've ever partaken, slurrrrrp man.

Amidst the rollicking witty repartee and the scintillating discussion, I shall empty the dishwarsher, minister to the cat if she awakens from our bed and comes downstairs, and go to bed, zzz man.

How was the slurping, and were you wearing ear plugs? ;)

He's a retarded a-hole. Useless loser. I used to like the guy (not respect, like). But now I don't even like him. He's only good at living it up.

Yes, I knew those two points, first listed. Already Already.

So, what are yer intentions, Sir ? wink.png

If'n it was me, in yer shoes, I'd drop him off at yer upsate property, with the trees tagged for cutting, 200 gallons of gas, and a chainsaw. Logsplitter optional.

The answer is easy. Because you enable Tiff . Stop the enabling, and the Malaysian Connection dries up, dies.

I wouldn't mind really, if the ahole wasn't taking advantage. The only person he sends money to is his parents (who refuses to care for his savage kid, keeping with Chinese traditions).

My in laws don't get cash, I don't get cash. Sometimes I think he's just really too stupid to realize that he's taking advantage. But other times I feel that he knows what he's doing.......

He should at least send a few hundred bucks to my in laws. Not to mention that my FIL is losing half his work force (my MIL) who has to care for this kid.

I get aggravated when I see injustice.

I didn't even tell you guys about a distant cousin who's baby daddy asked her to ask me to be her sponsor. And the guy makes a hundred grand working for NY state.....

Oh don't worry. See but my sly tactic is that when they leave here, I'll look like the good guy (which I am) to the rest of the family. On tiffs sisters FB page, she's already defending herself. Trying to justify why she married a loser. That's fine, but don't do it on my dime.....

The way he knows how to punch buttons, he's going to be an engineer of some sort, wee man.

Where's the +1,000 button?

What is it -- third Sunday in a row when I didn't leave the house? Beautiful day out there, too. Did 5 instead of 4 laundry loads, on the basis of toilet-training just begun and in the experimental/experiential phase, pee man. Back to workly grind tomorrow, gee man.

The Verdict: Mrs. T-B. wants a new glasstop cooktop, sigh man, albeit regular, not induction. Gonna be hard to bargain with anyone even on Craigslist, sigh man. Anyone with ideas of where to get (1) a deep retail discount, (B) wholesale, or (iii) secondhand-new, holler loudly here, plea man.

And now to bed after cat-ministrations, zzz man.
