So i just got a GEICO quote. It's looking to save me 1500 a year on car insurance. And another 100 on the umbrella. And I didn't even check on boat insurance.

Here's my dilemma. How do I tell my insurance agent of 17 years that he got beat?

yea we'll see. I'll call him tomorrow. I doubt it, Nationwide is known for being expensive. If they can come close, within lets say 500 bucks of GEICO, I'll stay with them.

I just tried getting a boat quote online, they said I gotta call them.....I know what they want. A survey of the boat.

is the flooding close by you?

A little yes. Most of I-25 from middle of Denver to Wyoming was closed. I-225 was closed. Boulder is maybe a few hours away. Anyone close to a river or creek is without a dry spot to stand on. Same goes with if they live in a lower area where water can pool. The ground here is just not meant for this kind of rain and can't absorb it quick enough. A monsoon front from the south met a wet front from the north right at the frontal range of the rockies. I bet most people don't have flood insurance either (fire probably since a wildfire is more likely in this dry state than a flood!) I only hope contractors are as good about it as they were in Calgary this year when they were flooded. I'd hate to see someone getting rich off what can be considered a natural disaster.
