This is a good thing, right?

I got to take most of my companion pets with me. There were a few that were non-tradeable that I didn't get but Mr Chilly managed to find me! :D

You guys really move on the weekends!

I got a few hours off tonight so I could go to a friend's family's music festival. Was fun.

Bah - I've been just laying in the bed, in and out of sleep most of the day. Some nice former employee came by for a few hours today... I'm immobile (mostly) for the next 3 days...

Catching up on some things when conscious, so that's a plus. Mostly bored now, taking a look at some of the John Ryan novels in my bedside pile.

Hint to the recently immobilized - don't eat heavy...

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

Have you dug into the dishwasher and seen about replacing the pump? They're not to hard, heck it even might be a belt driven pump and the belt is slipping.

As to mini-bone not wanting to nap, would you want to be around 20 to 30 young children that missed their naps? Heck one that missed a nap is bad enough.

I always have an over the range microwave. Last time I had a place that didn't have that, I put one in shortly after moving in. And that was about 26 years ago.

1. Good idea. However, it's an ancient machine (probably 15+ years old -- Kenmore QuietWash, if anyone has a way of looking it up). When we transferred it from the other house, we were warned that it was old and could "go" at any time. Not even sure that parts would be available, unless Kenmore or Whirlpool has kept them consistent or maintained a supply of legacy parts.

2. No and si, man.

3. Our microwave is over the oven. The range-fan is over the cooktop (stove with burners). We're looking for recommendations on a newer, quieter fan.
