Visa approved! Question about petition date

Visa finally approved and in hand! Just a quick question. On the visa it has an expiration date in February 2014 but it also lists the petition validity date which is up to September 9 2013. Is it alright to travel after September 9th? I didn't really they would put Petition date on the actually visa. Thanks!

visa is not petition.

petition is not visa.

now, visa holder is governed by dates in visa.

prior, k-1 visa chaser governed by dates in I-129F approval notice.

so... there are two dates in the visa. the later date, is the last day the visa holder can transit into the USA.

Once in the USA, a new period of authorized stay starts, governed by a new thing - the I-94 document. Usually is 90 days after POE.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

Yeah that's what I figured. I don't know why they put the petition validity date in the actually visa. Some travel agents told my fiancé that he wouldn't be able to travel after September 9th. Just confuses people.
