I just called them. Wow took me forever before i get through it. They told that even them call center agents are waiting for further instructions this afternoon from the us embassy. I know i expected this already.

I asked them to reschedule Maricel and it seems like they would have except they have the same receipt trouble

Aug 20 was the original appt. -- maybe there is still hope for 8/26-27

I wonder how some receipt numbers get stuck to the last apt and others don't?

keep trying! don't give up :) i am hoping you all will get an appointment for august 26. don't lose hope :)

I think the embassy is open today... my fiancee went in a few hours ago for an Aug 22nd interview and hasnt come out yet...

keep us posted on how she did & what questions they asked her. good luck to your fiancee.

Not sure but that is what the customer agents told me and saw some post on facebook that they were on the embassy today at 4am but were turned down by 6am

####### you may be right.. thats also what the US embassy website says, to not go to todays interviews and just call later... but my fiancee has been in there for a few hrs now with another girl who also has an interview today so not sure whats going on. My fiancee was also in line by 4 am. Maybe they are waiting to be rescheduled... no idea

Additional information on rescheduling appointments for Non-Immigrant Visas will be made available via this website or through our visa information service center once we re-open. When rescheduling visa appointments, we will give priority to those applicants who were unable to be interviewed due to inclement weather on Monday August 19, Tuesday August 20, and Thursday August 22.
