Interview today but USEM closed

Looks like it'll be a party on the 26th! We're scheduled for 7:30am also, although I made my appointment over a month ago. Maybe with all the new interviews the CO's will cut the interviews short to get everyone done.

Also, just got a email from Phil Air, my flight got rescheduled 6 hours later, so arriving at 10:45 on Thursday. Hope the waters have gone down enough to get to my hotel by then. Staying at the Hotel H2O for the first time, hope we can walk it with out needing swim wear!

Have a safe flight here in Manila. I am praying that Mr.Sunshine will come up anytime soon.

Embassy is closed.. makes sense that the web portal is not updated. I'd suggest if you can, just go ahead and be first in line once office resumes. Call them too if possible. Our patience are tested during times like this.. stay calm, be safe and dry.

Any luck in trying guys? here's an update.

The U.S. Embassy in Manila will be open for business on Thursday, August 22. However, the Embassy's Consular Section will be closed for all but emergency Consular services. Information regarding rescheduling of visa appointments will be available tomorrow afternoon on our website. For U.S. citizens with American Citizen Services appointments, please either re-schedule your appointment by visiting our web site or await contact from the ACS unit in the next few days.

so we still have something to look forward tomorrow regarding with the visa scheduling. tomorrow's interview are also cancelled that makes up 3days of interview to catch up. lets hope for the best that they would come up with a very good plan for us who were affected.

oopps sorry i misunderstood the status. i thought "the Embassy's Consular Section will be closed for all but emergency Consular services." - I remember the Aug19 interviews are they the ones who will be having the Emergency Consular Services?

Oh your right, appointments for tomorrow was cancelled also. thats crazy, 3 days delayed. thats a LOT of people

Just spoke to the Manila Embassy and tried (hence the term) to reschedule. No luck. they had to escalate my issue to management to resolve the receipt number problem. When (hence the term) it gets resolved I can try again to reschedule the interview online.

I just called them. Wow took me forever before i get through it. They told that even them call center agents are waiting for further instructions this afternoon from the us embassy. I know i expected this already.
