My fiancee is filipina, but lives in Malaysia, Thank god through the eyes of the USCIS that I will be taking her from there instead of the Philippines...it would probally be a longer process I can imagine.

Be wary, aye? If yer lass hits PI soil with a K-1 visa stamped in her passport, and leaves the international area, there is a big chance that she won't be allowed to get on another plane leaving the PI, as she not have any CFO sticker.

Just saying... It's not an absolute, but I'd be wary about it.

I visited the US for nearly 3 months whilst we waited for the K1 to process.

First she should apply for a B2 and take it from there.

I have a friend who is dating a girl from the philippines. Soon my visa journey will end and around October will be traveling to phillippines to pick her up for the USA. Question is he wants to fly with me there and bring his girl back with us on a tourist visa, then once here file the i129f. Is that possible?

I dont know what to tell him. I mean the meeting requirement would be there, they will meet but dont know while she would be here, if he could file for a petition.

looking forward for answers so I could relay to him...................Thanks VJ's

I would suggest you tell your "FRIEND" to do his own research.

God Bless

Great point Darnell. The Philippines is huge on that CFO sticker. And it is not easy to get there. They will not allow any Filipina to leave that country without that sticker in their passport....unless someone makes a huge mistake.
