So, why are poor people getting killed, or are you like Harsh, saying that doesn't happen, unless they are criminals? That is what your statement is implying.

What I am implying is that they are getting killed because they "live by the sword" so to speak. I'm saying if you using guns to commit crime, there is a good chance you could end up dead by getting shot. The fact that they may be poor is secondary.

ETA: There's lots of poor people in the world that don't feel the need to kill people because they are poor.

So, like Harsh, you believe just being being poor, you are a criminal, because only criminals are getting killed. Much like Harsh, you don't believe innocent people are getting killed in poor neighborhoods. Thank you for clearing that up.

+1 on Karee

You are failing your reading today, no one said they get killed coz they are poor. They are getting killed coz they are members of gangs.

Law abiding citizens don’t go handing out their weapons to felons or donating their weapons to the felons, so the cycle you are talking about does not make any sense.

Bull. That is why the NRA is now against doing background checks for all non-FFL dealer sales and all private party transfers. It makes perfect sense to anyone not blinded by unjustified paranoia.

Your ignorance is showing.

It shall be unlawful - 18 U.S.C. § 922 : US Code - Section 922

for any person -

(A) except a licensed importer, licensed manufacturer, or

licensed dealer, to engage in the business of importing,

manufacturing, or dealing in firearms, or in the course of such

business to ship, transport, or receive any firearm in

interstate or foreign commerce; or

(B) except a licensed importer or licensed manufacturer, to

engage in the business of importing or manufacturing

ammunition, or in the course of such business, to ship,

transport, or receive any ammunition in interstate or foreign

commerce;

on and on..............

So who is non FFL dealer and how is that legal ?

Those weapons the felons are arming themselves with come from law abiding citizens just trying to protect themselves.

false

The study noted that most criminals obtained their guns in the underground economy — from friends, family members, or gang members — well outside any influence from gun controls on legitimate gun owners.

The ATF reports that between 50% and 75% of the vendors at gun shows possess a Federal Firearms License
