Mailing I-129F Petition for K-1 Visa

Is there a certain folder, envelope or package the I-129F and all documents are supposed to be mailed in?

Should anything be stappled together?

I know ther is some folders with metal clips, but that would require for me to punch holes on the top of all documents.

The short answer is no, there is no need for folders,clip and staples as long as all of the required information is there. However, I followed the guidelines here http://www.visajourney.com/content/assembly and used acco fasteners. Yes you have to punch holes in the top. I have done this with both my k-1 petition and my wifes AOS paperwork without any problems. Just remember to make sure you send everything they ask for and a cover letter helps them find everything quickly. I simply placed the entire package in a cheap paper folder and then mailed it in a little larger envelope.

No special clips or staples needed. Do be sure to add your cover letter stating everything in your packet and if you need the post office can provide a sturdy envelope (at a fee) for your packet...But a large manila envelope will do. Best of luck.

do not punch any holes in the documents use paper clips no folders do not staple any thin g have all you papers organized in order write a cover letter, and form G-1145 on the very top of your file paper clip the check to the 1-129f don't for get the letter of intent one for you one for wife wifes sign and date use a large heavy duty clamp in the center on top got the us post office use the free envelope priority mail with tracking

It's helpful to put "Original I-129F" on the very outside envelope that holds everything, or on the mailing-label.
