There is some information that suggests Manila Does not accept co-sponsors for a K-1 application.

The requirement as best I understand are, you must make 125% of the poverty level guidelines,

Assets value is divided by 5 (years) so a $10,000.00 income coupled with $100,000.00 in assets would grand total to $30,000.00.

The poverty guidelines can be found here:

Copied from a previous post to save retyping....

The joint sponsor terminoligy is bandied about quite a bit regarding the I-134, but it is erroneous. There is no joint sponsor with the I-134, only a sponsor. Whether that be the petitioner or someone else. If the petitioner does not satisfy the financial requirements, another sponsor can be used. Quite often though an affidavit from the petitioner may also be required even though they do not meet the requirements. It is not termed as a joint sponsor, like it is with the I-864, where a joint sponsor can be used and it allows for such.

Manila can be a lot stricter in who they will accept as a sponsor. In the Philippines threads when it is said that Manila won't accept a joint-sponsor for the K visa, it is correct as there is no joint-sponsor for the exact reasons stated above.
