***moved to progress reports from process and procedures ***

14 months is BEYOND normal.... triply beyond. What have you done so far? Contacted congressman or senator? Made any service requests?

What have you done thus far to inquire what is the delay? 7 months is beyond normal. Did you just file a I-130 or did you also file I-129F in hopes of a K3+

Who have you called, wrote to? 14 months you should have been in US already a good 3 to 4 months with green card.

Let your husband do the job like contacting his Congressman, Senator, etc. Beneficiaries are not allowed to do it only your husband, the Petitioner.

I got my approval in 4 1/2 months on a spousal. A year seems CRAZY! If I were you, I'd have the petitioner's congressman involved. It took 2 months to get my NOA2 to the NVC, I called my congressman's office and they inquired and then it just magically appeared days after they congressman's office contacted them! Give it a try....it's worth a shot!!! Best of luck to you!

Before I even attempt to call congressmen, I would advise your husband to do an infopass and talk to someone directly.

14 months seem very long. I checked the USCIS processing times and it says the National Average for I-130 is now 13 .5 months!!!! But Vermont Service Center is 7 months for average processing times.

One person suggested contacting congressman. But on their websites the congressman say they cannot help with immigration so I never tried that, but you need to try anything.

Best of luck

14 months is quite long and NO is not normal. I have seen it happen a few times on VJ though and always with Filipino couples. Your USC spouse needs to make an infopass, contact his congressman's liaison and ombudsman.

Jennybateman, actually you are not alone, we are also filed IR-1/CR-1 visa and up to this time we didnt recieved yet for NOA2, but last month of May my 2013 husband did his Biometric then after that we never hear anything yet, it is more frustrating for me/us cos my application takes almost 16months now, sometimes i get frustrated and upset to my husband blaming about the processing of our papers which is according to him it is not his control we really dont have any idea about whats going on, i've been trying to search online saw the site saying it is usually takes up to 18 months which is im waiting up to that number of months will come, i really dont know what to do if it will exceed 18months, for sure it would be hopeless, I honestly tell you if im not having kid and recently preggy for our second baby that making me busy for my daily routine i will tell you for sure that i will be get crazy, will even 'm busy playing around with my kid i still cant control my eagerness to be with my husband and cause to argue sometimes. His been trying to contact USCIS also but nothing is changes, i have my computer on daily so everyday im checking my status on USCIS website that driving me nuts. I will be giving birth this coming September and my hubby will coming home so i am thinking to slowdown worrying so much about my papers i am in fucos to our coming baby this time and will be busy again for the Citizenship for our 2nd Angel. If there is anything that will have new news about ur papers would you mind to update me pls?? Thanks
