I have decided that there is nothing "happy" about Tuesday . . . so maybe I'll go do some training stuff for work now that I am "benching" . . . :P

You're benching? How much can you bench? Me - 250.

Hicham is soooooooo washted right now!!!!:lol::lol:

what the heck does "washted" mean? i'm figuring it's a typo, but can't decipher if you mean "wasted" or "washed" or something else altogether? whatever it is, i hope he's sleeping it off!

hahaha washted is like saying wasted when you're really wasted and can't talk right or something. I heard someone say it once and it caught on a few years ago.

Anyways I hope everyone has a good day!

LOL, when I told one of my other consultant-type friends that I was "benching" she said "oh, a new term?? hey, that works!! " . . . I just mean that I am "on-the-bench", which means that I am "in-between-projects" . A couple of years ago, I ended up taking the travelling gigs because I was afraid of being laid off while "on-the-bench" . . . now I wonder where the original phrase came from . . . . google to the rescue . . . really a sports term for a football player that sits on the bench instead of playing in the game. It morphed over into the contractor/consultant/tech areas.

now "bench press" 250 pounds??? I dont think so . . . I have enough problems lifting 40 pound bags of kitty litter . . . I think I'll recruit the hubster for that task once he gets Stateside. :P
