Long story short.

Married 7/17... honeymoon. ..visit.. etc

(First visit btw...we met online. ..in February)

Planned on going back in Oct and Dec. Sent i130 packet 7/27.

Received noa1 email 8/2.

Find out we were pregnant 8/4.

In an attempt to rush process... slight chance I know....I filled/sent k3 8/14.

They're NOT going to let me fly past 7 months or so...I know it. I'm so afraid to go through this pregnancy alone. I wish there was something else I could do besides moving there. Which isn't really possible. Anyone go through this. ... this is a case from Dominican republic by the way. I'm so lost and scared. .

USCIS:

I-130 RECEIVED: 8/2/13

I-129f RECEIVED: 8/21/13

I-130 & I-129f: TRANSFERRED TO CSC 2/7/14

I-130 & I-129f: APPROVED 2/20/14

NVC:

3/4/14: NVC Case Received

3/7/14: Email that case number and IIN assigned, DS 261 and AOS fee available to pay

3/14/14: JUST seen the email because I wasn't expecting it so soon. Paid AOS FEE & filed ds 261

3/21/14: AOS paid, cover sheet printed

4/28/14: AOS sent

4/28/14: IV paid

5/5/14: IV submitted

in the process of sending civil docs for IV package...thennnnnn...dun dun...NOOOO checklist i hope! lol

Just to clarify: You filed the I-130 (CR-1 visa path), got the NOA1 for it, and then filed an I-129F to go with it (K-3 visa path)?

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

i went thru my pregnancy alone. Only got to visit once at 5 months and he still has not met the baby yet so I totally understand.. try not to stress yourself too much since it will take a toll on your pregnancy.. Everything will be ok :)

Visit how, while I'm waiting for his visa? I'm confused. I've had two children and went through it alone. Just don't want to HAVE to do it again.

Trying to breathe through the negative. ..woooosa! LOL

My bigger fear. ..is actually not being able to fly for the cita... and him getting denied. Its DR.. don't have much of a choice. I won't be past 7 months til Feb. But who knows with the timing lately.

Oh you're the USC. If it looks too close, you can delay at the NVC stage until you and the baby are able to fly.

Haha yes...sorry i didn't exactly specify that :)

My head isn't exactly where its supposed to be. I'm praying it doesn't come to that and we can get him here PRE labor. But...I know the reality is just a prayer.

07/17/13: NOA 1

01/03/14: Transferred to Texas

01/24/14: NOA 2

02/10/14: shipped to NVC

NVC*

02/18/14: Case received by NVC

03/21/14: NVC Case# Received

03/27/14: AOS shows paid

03/27/14: dropped off AOS package at post office

03/31/14: AOS received at NVC

04/02/14: IV shows paid

04/02/14: DS-260 Completed

04/02/14: dropped off IV package and resent I-864

04/04/14: Received at NVC (IV package and I-864)

04/16/14: received a real checklist for I-864

04/20/14: AOS accepted

04/22/14: received a real checklist for IV package (birth certificate :cry:)

04/23/14: NVC received checklist item (IV package)

05/14/14: Case complete at NVC

05/21/14: email about case complete

06/12/14: Received email for interview (P4)

06/23/14: Medical done

07/02/14: Pick up medical results

the k-3 is obsolete and rarely if ever issued anymore. it was used years ago when the wait time for the cr1 used to take years. They have not been issuing them since 2010.

Thank you Bxfemme!! I seen info about expedited visas but I only seen life or death situations.

Mimolicious...I've heard both ends of the fence on that. But it was worth a shot. And even the lady I talked to on the phone when I inquired about my reciept number said if she were in my shoes she would at least try. It can't make my life worse! Lmao
