WIth the shortest wait times, least hassles/harrassment?

My fiance lives in Metro Manila - Malabon City to the exact.

She also still needs to get her CENOMAR.

Find an NBI branch near in Malabon, if nothing, just go to the main office of NBI in UN Avenue (Taft). She will spend maybe the whole day for this. If she doesn't have a "hit" on her name she will be able to get the clearance within the day but if there's a "hit" she will be asked to go back 1 or 2 weeks after the application.

Cenomar, she can request it online which I think is more practical that going to NSO. She will pay a little higher including the fees for delivery at home but if you will compute it more or less she gonna spend the same amount when she choose to go to NSO.

Thanks. :)

It's a thought. However, they charge quadruple for every document ordered online, and she is planning on getting 5 birth certificates in addition to the CENOMAR, so it may be worth it to just go and get them all in person.

Oh I see! yeah, if she wants more copy then its more practical to go there in person! coz online they charge the delivery fee per document not per batch of request!

Good day to you! :D

Hey there! Another option is to go to an SM mall that acommodates NSO requests..

They only have 20 pesos additional per certificate and the processing time is usually 5 working days if I remember right.

This is very convenient and she can apply up to 7:30 PM while malling.. =)

Here's the list.. Don't know if it's updated though.. =)

For NBI, she can pay via GCash then do the application online.. Then she can book her appointment to claim in her chosen outlet.. It will take only around 15 mins when she goes to pick-up the clearance! good.gif

For her NBI clearance, I suggest she goes to UN Ave in Manila and visit in the afternoon (3 or 4pm). It'll only take her 15 minutes to get her NBI clearance.

When I applied for it at one of their satellite branches in Robinson's Ermita at around 3pm, I immediately got a "hit" and they wanted me to come back on Aug 15 (my interview was on July 30) Well, according to the NBI personnel that I spoke with, my name doesn't have any "hits" at all but since I was requesting for a clearance with a purpose of Travel to US, that is usually their procedure as he said the US embassy wants them to triple check everything. So I immediately went to its main branch in UN ave to expedite it. I got there at around 3:45pm and talked to a lady to expedite it and voila, I got my NBI clearance that day and got out of their office at 4pm. If only I had thought of going to the main branch in the first place instead of going to its satellite branch, I could've avoided that hassle.
