I'm reading the checklist for AOS and I'm pretty confused:

It says include the marriage certificate in both I-130 and I-485. I only have 1 marriage certificate.

Does it mean that I have to order one more marriage certificate and wait forever for it like I did with this one, or I can just get a notarized copy of this one anywhere?

You just need a regular copy, not the original, and not notarized as far as I know.

yeah, I just googled and found this on USCIS website:

USCIS no longer routinely requires submission of original documents or "certified copies." Instead, ordinary legible photocopies of such documents (including naturalization certificates and alien registration cards) will be acceptable for initial filing and approval of petitions and applications.

Altho while reading the instructions it does only say:

Attach a copy of the fiance(e) petition approval notice, a copy of your marriage certificate and your I-94 form.

But everyone on here does certified copies!

Run it through a copying machine. Never sent them origianals of your docs.
