I do have a quick question, did they keep his passport? I saw one post saying they have been having folks keep their passport and then requesting the passports later. So I just wanted to check. Thanks!!!!

That is great news!!! Congrats!!! Jamaican government working fast....wow....shocking!! That is where my fiancée is living and we are moving at a snails pace....grrrr!!! Again congrats!!!

Thank you! Yessss i know. I was actually surprised by how fast they have been moving. Still waiting on some movement in regards to the production of his visa though. We shall see how long that takes lol

Yes they did in fact keep his passport. Ive definitely seen several stories where they did not and that was my biggest worry but yes they did keep his :)

We have been approved! My fiance claims they didnt even go through the binder I sent off to him. They simply asked if we were going to get married and when my fiance tried to hand over the binder the IO stated that he didn't need to see it, that my fiance had nothing to worry about as he was APPROVED! Super stoked. Now the waiting game in AP begins!goofy.gifdancin5hr.gifluv.gif

Congrats! So fantastic. We have our interview on 9/3--hope it goes as smoothly as yours.
