So my mom got her visa approved and picked up her DHL package. Can I open the DHL package to retrieve the passport and the sealed packet from the DHL package? Is the visa/ passport inside the DHL package she received? I do undestand what I need to do with the sealed packet. I just don't know if the passport/visa is inside the DHL package, if is inside the DHL package can I open it to retrieve the passport/visa? Thank everyone.

I have the answer to the questions above and also advise. I called the american consulate in ciudad Juarez and I was told that you open the DHL package and inside you find the sealed packet, the passport/ visa, and instructions on what to do with the sealed packet. I will advise you that you make travel arrangements AFTER you read the instructions inside the DHL package. The instructions will tell you wether you can enter the USA from any port of entry or if you have to go to a specific port of entry. I bought travel tickets before reading those instructions but I was lucky because the instructions said that my mom could go to any port of entry. You can enter the USA either flying or through any USA border port of entry unless ofcouse they tell you otherwise.
