By all means send a copy of the beneficiary's birth cert. Recently I have seen some members get an RFE for a copy of the beneficiary's birth cert. The guides here don't list it but they should. Anything you might get an RFE for should be listed in the guides IMHO.

Yeah, I tried to get it listed when we re-did the guides a month ago, but my battle was lost.

SEND IT!

Hmm... I sent my I-129F about 2 months ago and I did not include my beneficiary's BC. Do you think I will get a RFE because of this? I was never informed of the beneficiary's BC as either an optional or must-have... I just didn't know. I hope I'm still okay. :(

I didn't send my fiance's, either. But I did copy the inside front cover of his passport - sort of to CYA me on this issue ;) but also because I used passport stamps from his trips here as evidence.

It's better to be safe than sorry.

I sent my fiance's BC but a friend of mine did not send her fiance's - same country.

Neither one of us received an RFE but I've heard of people who have for not sending the BC.

So you tell me how that makes sense?

I copied his passport to show our travel stamps as well. So I went ahead and copied ALL PAGES of it.

Don't be stressing over this. The majority of petitioners do not get an RFE for the beneficiary's BC. :)

*keeps fingers crossed* I pray that be... Ahh, admist the confusion and chaos of instructions...
