3 denials would affect k1 visa?

I have 3 B2 visa denials last year (2012) do you think this would affect the outcoming of the k1 visa? all 3 tourist applications were to visit my fiance (boyfriend at the time) as he was unable to come due to work. the denials were because i am was still a student so not too much to show and because i did not had strong ties with my country.

Anyone in the same situation , similar or just people that have thoughts please share . Thank you .

The denial of your B2 visa applications should not prejudice your K-1 application.

B2 visa is applied for temporary visits without intention to immigrate. Since you revealed in your interview your intention to visit your boyfriend and your apparent lack of ties to your home country it raised suspicions that you were going ot violate your visa restrictions, hence, the denial of your application. In filing for a K-1 visa your intention is to immigrate and the requirements are different than with B2. Provided you comply with the required documents (fill in the forms, pay the fees and submit all necessary paperwork) and satisfy the immigration officer during your interview, there should no reason to deny your application.
